This is a consignment agreement, between Sue Shelor of Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market and __________________ of ___________________________ Consignor at Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market in Meadows of Dan, Virginia. Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market will display consigned Items and attempt to sell them at prices agreed. Prices will be determined by Consignor and will include commission owed to Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market. Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market will obtain written consent before selling Items at prices lower than those agreed. Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market will retain from the sale proceeds a commission of 30% of the sale price, plus 5% if buyer uses a credit card. In computing the commission, sales tax will not be added to the sale price.

Payment will be made to Consignor in the form of a check on the 15^th of each month following the sale of the Item. Checks may be picked up or will be mailed to vendor’s address. Postage for mailing checks will be deducted from vendor sales. Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market will inform Vendor when sold Items need to be replaced. If no check is received for a month, no Items were sold.

Items may be removed at Vendor’s discretion, with one month’s notice to Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market. If requested by Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market, Vendor will remove Items within two weeks. If Items are not removed, they will be stored and if not collected within 60 days Items will be considered abandoned and sold. Mountain Meadows Farm and Craft Market discourages temporary removal of items.

Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market will not be responsible for loss or damage to vendor’s merchandise or property. This includes: fire, theft, flood, breakage or other losses. Vendors should consider carrying insurance on property consigned to Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market.

Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market agrees to collect and pay to the State of Virginia all applicable sales tax.

Vendors agree to the following rules and regulations:

1. All vendors shall tag all Items with string tags or easily removable labels.

2. Each Item will be tagged with vendor information, price and description. Vendor WILL determine the price of the merchandise, including any commission to Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market.

3. Vendor will keep their own record of inventory and provide Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market one copy.

4. Vendor is urged to visit Mountain Meadow Farm and Craft Market frequently to check on sales, help with displays, make suggestions, interact with customers and demonstrate craft techniques when Vendor is available.
